Terms of Service
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Service
Downdar provides a monitoring service and API that tracks the uptime and availability of websites, servers, and endpoints. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (including your API key) confidential. Do not share it or expose it in client-side code. You are responsible for all usage under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use Downdar to violate any applicable law, abuse or attempt to reverse-engineer our monitoring infrastructure, resell or redistribute API access without written permission, or configure monitors to target systems you do not own or have authorization to monitor.
4. Plans and Billing
You will be billed monthly based on your selected plan. Your plan includes a set number of monitor slots, which remain active for as long as your subscription is in good standing and do not reset or expire monthly. If you reach your monitor slot limit, you will need to remove an existing monitor or upgrade your plan to add new ones.
5. Data and Privacy
We store the URLs, endpoints, and status check results you configure for monitoring in order to provide uptime reports, alerts, and historical logs. We do not access or store any content returned by your monitored endpoints beyond what is needed to determine status. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Uptime
We aim for high availability of our own monitoring infrastructure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, nor that every downtime event on your monitored endpoints will be detected or reported without delay. We are not liable for any damages resulting from downtime, missed alerts, or service interruptions.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Downdar is provided as-is. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
